Personal Life
Dr. Susindira Kumar S was born on 28th December 1979 in Pondicherry into a Hindu family. His father, Mr. Sarangapany, was a motor mechanic, and his mother, Mrs. Anandhavalli, a homemaker. He completed his schooling at Petit Seminaire Higher Secondary School and pursued his college education in the CSC (Computer Science and Engineering) course at Sri ManakulaVinayagar Engineering College.
Before dedicating himself fully to music, he served in the Indian Army, an experience that instilled discipline and resilience, which now reflect in his musical journey.
He is married to Mrs. Sankari, a French lecturer, and they have a daughter, S. Leena. He has a twin brother, Surendira Kumar, who resides in the UK, a younger brother, Thamarai Selvan, based in Chennai, and an elder sister, Manjula settled in France.
As a Music Director
Dr. Susindira Kumar S has collaborated with several renowned music directors, worked as an assistant and musician on various projects. His portfolio includes album songs, pilot tracks, jingles, short films, documentaries, and feature films. Currently, he is actively working in the film industry as a Music Director for the feature films, continuing to make his mark with original and impactful compositions.
